Right now, it feels like our lives are on hold, but it’s important to remember that this isn’t forever. We don’t know when life will return to normal, but you can ensure we are ready when it does.
Creating a vision board is one way to guide our decisions and help live a happier life. It starts with a series of questions that cover everything from strengths and weaknesses to what makes us feel happy and fulfilled. It’s a process of inward reflection that gives us a new perspective and helps us create clear goals for our life ahead. At the start of each year, I always do this, these can be personal, financial and career goals – basically whatever you want them to be. If that feels like too much hard work, you could always just make a bucket list of all the places you plan to visit and the things you want to do when you get out.
Indeed, this is also a perfect time for small businesses to re-think and plan their strategy. It could be that you have had to change direction and offer your services online, or perhaps even cease trading altogether for the moment. Either way, it is a time for reflection and planning to ensure you are ready to hit the ground running when the lock down is lifted and life gets back to normal. Or perhaps a better version of normal!
